Hi, I’m Dr. Funmi Ayeni,

I started Ineya Strategic Insights because many mission-driven organizations do important work without the tools, resources, and internal capacity to know what’s working or how to improve. In addition, staff well-being isn’t prioritized as equally as program outcomes. I’ve experienced this reality myself, and I created this company to help address it; one partnership at a time.

Professional Biography

I am a community-based researcher, evaluator, and facilitator with over ten years’ experience doing equity-focused, culturally responsive work. I work with people and organizations to turn data into clear insights that improve programs, strengthen organizations, increase impact, and lift community voices.

My work centers care, honest relationship-building, and respect for the lived knowledge of those most harmed by disinvestment and systemic unfairness. I bring lived experience and formal training in community-grounded, trauma-informed methods, especially in low-resource settings.

I focus on qualitative and mixed-methods designs and lead developmental, formative, process, and outcome evaluations that prioritize learning and useful results. I use an intersectional lens that centers gender equity, disability inclusion, and language justice.

My practice is participatory and partnership-based. I work with the people closest to an issue, recognize their knowledge and power, and help them build skills to lead evaluation and strategy. I connect theory and practice across evaluation, capacity building, leadership training, organizational strategy, and career coaching so collaborative insights shape programs, policy, and practice long after the project ends.
